Expertise

Carolyn is a leader in the field of Scottish family law and a regular media commentator on family issues.

Experience

Carolyn has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as an accredited specialist in family law since 1995. She is a past Chair of the Family Law Association. She is collaboratively trained, including inter-disciplinary practice. Carolyn has undertaken a large number of high worth divorce cases during her 30 years' experience in the law, 20 of which have been spent exclusively in family law practice.

Successes

Carolyn has also extensive experience in cases involving residence/contract disputes, some with an international aspect, adoptions, cohabitants' claims and agreements to regulate financial aspects of family relationships such as separation or pre-nuptial agreements.
